Description
Major Philip and Fiona Erskine’s Homestead in Idas Valley is the oldest in Stellenbosch.
With an ancient walled vegetable garden and mature trees and shrubs this is an old rambling garden classic. The Erskines’ huge gum tree (a National icon) is also to be seen, although it only flowers in December.
